The fact of the matter is that the Bills NEEDED a quarterback, and, although I too was a little shocked by the pick, Manuel is probably the one with the biggest potential upside. It wasn't THAT much of a reach, either. The Eagles and Browns also liked Manuel a lot, so there was a pretty good chance that he would have been gone when the Bills picked at #41. We did trade down and ended up getting Kiko Alonso as a result...that kid is a baller at LB, and I LOVE that pick. We screwed the Jets out of Tavon Austin in the process too, probably.

I was never a fan of Geno Smith at all, personally; in fact, I said several times that I hope the Jets get him...and they did, of course.

But the Bills picked up a ****load of receivers too...Robert Woods, Marquis Goodwin, and Da'Rick Rogers. Lots of new offensive weapons there for whatever QB starts week 1. Buffalo will have a great running game to help out as well.

 

Oddly enough, Geno was a pretty good passer in college.

 

I tend to agree with him actually, or let me say, I think he will be in the league longer than Smith will.

 

Never ever good to boast about your winnings before they are actually granted. Careful how you go about your business, IF Manuel comes to Miami and shreds our defense, you will end up with mucho Huevos on la Cabeza.
