No. Another classic ****ing choke job by Philbin and company. Coyle's defense looks clueless against the worst offense in the league. I've seen enough.
We don't look like a playoff team, and I feel we have the talent to be one. I want Don Shula back. Lol
To be fair we play down to bad opponents and up to good opponents. But yeah, this was the ugliest win of the season. **** the Jets.
Evidently it was too early for it. Half the poster were screaming bloody murder by the second quarter. It was tough to watch but gotta have at least some faith.
What the f*** don't you people get about divisional rivalries and road games against those teams?!?! They're almost ALWAYS ugly. Get the F over it...it's a W. Or just go on ahead being all like, "durrrr her herrr...we need Shula and Marino...durrrrrr...Zonk and the boys, herrr drrrrp.... STFU.
Ugly game planning, but.... This team finally pulled out a close game. First time the team pulled out a game that was in doubt in the last 5 mins of the 4th quarter. This is encouraging, a battletested win builds character... even if it wasn't pretty!
It was really cool seeing the passion from our boys when jones caught the int. that was fire, that was drive. They have their heads on straight out there.
Could you support this with anything? I strongly disagree considering this is our first win by less than 13 points all season. Its not like we have been squeaking out wins against the easy part of our schedule all season.
Raiders 24 Chiefs 20 Bengals 14 Bucs 13 I swear some people watch the Dolphins and have their head up their a$$ the rest of the week.
Exactly. This isn't college ball, we're not trying to impress the selection committee. We've had double digit/blowout wins all year and its " wah wah wah we can't win a close one". Now we win a close one and its "wah wah wah we can't blow people out".
Its not that we didn't beat them . I think the perception that the Jets suck and the fact it took everything we had to beat them is what leaves people shaking their head. At least that's how I was with the game. It was the fact that we should have beat them handily and didn't. Painful to watch. Players looked lost So two things here: we are still in trouble with this coaching staff, not being prepared for games that matter OR the jets are better then the media gives them credit for JETS SUCK happy we won
I didnt get upset watching the game. I figured Coyle would come out with something that didnt work and later figure it out. Games are won in the 4th quarter and the defense was balling by then.
I'm jealous that the Colts can clinch their division this week, why can't it be that easy for the Dolphins?
We have the easiest strength of schedule of all the teams in the hunt or currently sitting in a wild card spot.
That was an awesome moment, but it made me wonder if we were going to get flagged for it, not that it would have mattered. Even non football players on our side came out to join the celebration. lol.
That doesn't take divisional games into account...we have 2 of the 4 against divisional rivals...that's ALWAYS tough, even if one of them is 2-10. I'd say Baltimore has it pretty light, except our game, so we REALLY need to beat 'em, else they'll totally own a playoff spot throughout. SD (could easily lose out), KC (looking like 2-2, maybe 3-1) and Pitt (pegging them at 2-2 tops) have it rough...Cleveland may as well start Manziel...they're screwed.
Been watching NFL football for 52 years. Been watching the Dolphins for 48. I have found out that in the final analysis... An fugly win against a division opponent on their turf on a raining wet night counts just the same as a 37-0 wipe out of a non division opponent on a clear day in wonderful football weather. It's called gutting it out! Now, let's see if they can gut one out against the Ravens, or even better, the Pats. In fact, I would think that if they got into New England and walk away with a 16-13 victory in absolutely stunningly clear weather (freakin' unlikely as THAT is!) most of the Eeyores on this board would be happier than two pigs in a peach orchard at harvest time! And it would count exactly the same as a 16-13 win over the Yets!
lol. I knew that, but I have no idea why I said the 2 division games were at home. haha. I like our chances with 3 out of our remaining 4 games being at home. There's no doubt the Pats in foxborro will be tough, but it will be winnable because we will play with all of our heart, especially if it is for the division like I hope it will be. Either way the pats will have the advantage at their house. All i want for Christmas is sweeping the pats.
This one is right on time.
I got yelled at last 2 years when deep in to November I insisted that this team isn't going to the playoffs. Was called a hater. Nah, just a Dolphins fan.
You can blame that one on Huizenga, who was asked to move to the AFC South and put up a stink about it and got us left in the East. Then the ****er sold the team. *******
