A anchor point of the Oline hope he is ok.
Seven Dolphins are listed as probable, including receiver Brandon Marshall
I didn't know Marshall was a question to. Ugh.

lmao at the homer bear fan comments. how many cup cakes have they beat? yeah, they are a real juggernaut. the bears are capable of laying down better than the vast majority of the teams in this league.

The weakest AFCE team can beat the best NFCN team.

Im not happy about this. If this in fact, is the same injury that Satele had to play through, then I'd rather have him rest, or even IR his ***, so he wouldn't get hurt any more than he is.

Peppers vs Long shall be interesting.

Jake will have no punch power, and that's the essential pass pro move, especially to keep a guy like peppers off balance. He shut him down completely last yeR, but Peppers had an injured hand. Tommorow I'm really expecting Jake to get beat few times, and that's what frustrating me. Put a back up in there.

1. Playing with the injury could make it worse.
2. Playing with it is likely to drop his performance below the expected performance of his back up.
Number 1 has me most concerned. Is number 2 remotely likely? How bad would it need to be for a Jake to play worse than Murtha -

I'm sure they are weighing the long term implications of playing Jake, but that's balanced with the long term implications of keeping their jobs, so not surprising they are being aggressive.

Has Peppers done anything this season anyways? I haven't heard his name once this season.

Well, I'm glad he's starting, no doubt about that. I just hope that he's actually healthy enough to play and we dont end up causing more damage to that shoulder.

Long live the Jake!

Glad to hear Big Jake is gonna start. Hopefully, he makes through the entire game without aggravating the injury.
To those concerned he shouldn't be playing, all I can say is I'm sure they wouldn't risk a long term or career ending injury by playing him. In other words, if they have thoroughly evaluated him, and decided (along with Jake of course) that he can play without making the injury worse, then I don't think it's anything to be too concerned with. Is there a risk? Yeah, sure. Hell, there's always gonna be a risk of injury playing football. Even when you start out 100% healthy. That's just the nature of the game. Besides, we're really gonna need him tonight. Jake at 75-80% is still better than any one else we have.
JMHO.
