I love Jake Long. I wore his jersey on Sunday. That said, I don't want to hear any excuses. I don't care about preparation.

I care about results. Git r done, Big Jake!

Anybody who says he should play right tackle, will have to wear a badge saying they did so, if Jake goes back to the probowl this year.lol

No doubt in Jake Long he will be a Stud, bad game ill preped whatever you call it. Hes really young still and facing the best this year. This will be the year he grows more than any other I believe.

You realize that if Jason Peters decides to go to the pro bowl last season Long is watching from home

Clady was voted to the All-Pro team and not the Pro-Bowl team.

Post-season awards are stupid. Plus, they are voted on before the season is over!

Jake Long will be fine. He will be one of the best of all time when it is all said and done. No doubt a future Hall of Famer!!

    Well away from here
The Pro Bowl is also a popularity contest, and rewards players for their past year's performance: i.e. Ronnie Brown.

I have no worries about Big Jake, he will be fine. Even the real guru's on this site who said before we drafted Jake that he would make a better RT have come back and said they were wrong about that and that Jake proved he belongs where he is and will be there a Long time (pun intended).

    Great point.

I would liken this to taking AP Senior classes your Sophmore year in High School.
I was not for long last year and thought Glenn Dorsey the LSU horsey was the sure pick.

    Very happy I was dead-wrong.
I think by mid-year Jake Long will prove he was indeed the absolute best player taken top-5 last year.

& the rest of them, just as guilty, just as bad

as they go, so goes the season

I hope Vernon Carey is doing the same for Robert Mathis. If they can't handle those two, doubt we win.

bleh. two solid draws up the middle and they'll stop their speed rushing. the Colts front 7 is weak. There is no Mike Peterson and Curtis Lofton standing back there for them. If Mathis and Freeney continue to fly up the field all game long then the draw is going to be open all day, cause their isnt much behind them.

given how many players who drop out of the pro bowl each year, if we discredit alternates their pro bowl selection, we would discredit half the selections each year.

eventually they will get it right
I figured from early on they wouldn't hit their stride until game four
am looking forward to seeing a much improve offensive line against the Colts tonight
