Well, you can't have the best ever twice, certainly. There hasn't been another Jerry Rice or Barry Sanders to come along since those guys retired, either. Those guys are the elite of the elite. The HOF inside the HOF. But with good management, good coaching, and some luck, the Fins could get another multiple Pro Bowl QB who lights it up. Other teams do. More than anything, our problem has been horrible management for twenty years now.
Don’t be depressed…NO ONE will ever have a quarterback like that again. Marino played during an era when quarterbacks and receivers were also football players. They weren’t untouchable like they are now. Marino set all those records the old fashion way…he EARNED them
