Matt Ryan is a play-action whiz. He carries out his fakes as well as any one, can throw on the move, and the Falcons won't hesitate to roll him away from any pressure. The best way to stop this is precisely how you mentioned, stopping Michael Turner. They way we do this is by cutting down Justin Blaylock and Harvey Dahl and their tendencies to get outside or down on the linebackers. It's imparative that Randy Starks, Jason Ferguson, Kendal Langford, Tony McDaniel and Phillip Merling control those gaps and occupy those blockers. If we can keep Crowder and Ayodele free to fill gaps, we will be fine.
In the passing game, I'd prefer to see someone physical (Vontae Davis) get on Roddy White. Disrupt his routes, don't let him stride with those long legs and get deep into our secondary. Without Harry Douglass, the Falcons won't be able to spread teams out like they could last year.
That's my key defensively. Control the guards and be physical with Roddy White.
