Lydon Murtha puttin out the word that he wants to be our starting right tackles, looks forward to the competition with new rookie Jon Martin, says he's all healthy, has been with the strength coaches all offseason, and is in excellent shape (that's a good boy), People have anointed the starting position of right tackle already to Martin, however, this kid is highly athletic, he seems to be a scheme fit, and Ive see a few weaknesses in Martins game to think that it wont be an easy win, I say bring it on Baby, let the best man win,in a win win situation, first win,the player that replaces Columbia will be an upgrade after this competition, and 2nd, our depth will be vastly improved..
Should be pretty fierce, Martin is a tough minded player.

Interesting. I hope that Murtha does well.

my money would be on a healthy Murtha, hands down

2 great RT tackles normally means one great RT and a pretty good RG, I'll take it.

Sorta OT: Murtha is a really cool guy. You can often find him Friday night at the weekly car show in the Tower Shops off of 84 & University. He is out there talking about his red Mustang pretty often. He's a nice person and takes the time to talk with ya about cars which is pretty sweet.

Perfect world: Murtha wins the battle, Martin starts at LG, Incognito switches to RG.
-
Perfect world to me, Martin starts at Right Tackle and Murtha starts at Right Guard.infiltrateib and Ohio Fanatic like this. -

Murtha's problem is he is made of glass, literally, he calls Joe Toledo "durable".
John Jerry looked good at LT filling in for Big Jake, would like to see him in OL mix as well. -

To me, they simply must find a way to recoupe some value from John Jerry, he should not be just written off do to regime change. -

There isn't a lot of hope for the offense to make big strides if our Oline and WR corps don't improve. Hopefully he steps up to the plate.

As far as the WRs unit goes, the Dolphins just really need Michael Egnew to be all that was advertised.
