Friends a tester on it, it sounds pretty cool based on what he's told me. Video makes the fight for evil look really fun.
My friend say Sauron is underpowered and the Balrog is like the most powerful thing in the game; a heads up in case you go evil. I'll try to talk to him about it today. Now that I saw that video I'm more interested lol.
Storyline sounds interesting but the game doesn't look too much different or better than any of the old LOTR games on PS2.
I think it's an awesome idea. If they pull it off, it's going to rule. Think Battlefield meets LoTR. The same way Starwars Battlefront took the BF formula and made it unique this does the same thing. Several classes and techniques for each faction. I found the camera to be a little hindering at first, but I caught on quickly. The biggest gripe I have is the confusing controls. Each class can do several cool things. but the button layouts for each are all over the place. I'm sure it'll be better with practice. Multi player battles are huge and feel epic. I really think it could be a winner. Not sure about the single player though.
