Just saw her on Friday night and she was having a blast with my boys and we all kissed and hugged her goodnight. We expected to see her again in the next couple of days when my mom calls me up at 4 am this past morning informing me that she died. Apparently she suffered a heart attack and even though she got rushed to the hospital with my mom and my aunt, she suffered another massive one at the hospital which ruptured something in her heart and there was no hope. I wasnt able to be with them as I was up in Orlando. So all I got was a stupid call and then I rushed down. I regret so much not being able to be there and say I love you one last time My mom said that she was still smiling and messing around like always even though she was in pain the couple of hours in she was alive in the hospital bed. Anyway, this really was so unexpected as even at 83 her doctors checked up on her 24/7 and said she was in great heatlh but I guess something slipped by them and she had a clog somewhere. In any case thanks for hearing me out as I am still pretty messed up about it as are my kids since they really loved her. Goodbye Mima, we love you very very much.
I am so sorry to hear this. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. May God bless all of you.
Sorry about your loss. At least you got to spend some time with her a few days ago. Always hold on to that memory. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
I wasnt able to be with them as I was up in Orlando. So all I got was a stupid call and then I rushed down. I regret so much not being able to be there and say I love you one last time But you did, with her seeing your kids and you just days before. Love is not about bedside goodbyes, it's about the life that was lived, and your last union on Earth was joyous. Condolences for your loss, yet know that she is at peace and you all parted this life with the memory she most likely would have wanted you to have of her. All the best.
very sorry for your loss. losing your grandma/grandpa is about as sad as it gets, without it being tragic. i know you'll miss her, but i hope we all are lucky enough to make it to be grandparents one day. i still miss mine, and think about them all the time.
I'm sorry for your loss, bro. Remember her, keep her in your heart and she'll still be there for your kids as they grow.
Sorry for your loss bro......you can take solace in the fact that at least your children got to know her and love her. My prayers are with you and your family.
Sorry for your loss, may she rest in peace. You can honor her memory best by making her proud of you even as watches over you.
Sorry for your loss bro. I've lost all my grandparents and parents. It never got any easier. Stay strong.
I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Gramm a year ago September. She was like a second mom to me. I too saw her the night before and was able to say good bye, but it will always be mixed emotions for me as I saw her in the hospital bed. You have an awesome last memory of her with your kids. She knows you and your family love her. Have no regrets about that and honor her as she lived clearly a happy an joyous life. You will never forget and as time passes she will become even closer in your heart and thoughts. Love never forgets or regrets.
Sorry for your loss bro. My your grandmother rest in peace. Prayers, and thoughts go out to you and the family.
Thanks a million everyone. Sorry its taken me a week to come on here and say that. I just had to get away from here (Miami) for awhile and get my head straight as this really brought me down (which isnt easy to do). Thanks again everyone.
