Matt Millen was in love with Polite tonight. Dude is just a first down machine.

And he can block like nobody's business.

 

unfortunately he's also been credited for giving up 4 sacks. Which will definitely hurt him. Not saying they're his fault, cause RBs and FBs are the last chance to stop a defender before he gets the sack. But he might lose votes that way.

Polite for Pro-Bowl In '09

 

I'd rather take him to the Super Bowl instead of the Pro Bowl this year... I'm just sayin ;)

But in all seriousness, Polite is definitely one of the best Fullbacks out there. I mean I think he's got a perfect conversion rate from one yard out (on 4th and 3rd downs). Thats just plain crazy.

 

He's been a huge reason our running game is what it is.

And not to mention our 3rd/4th n 1 to go stats.

He does so many things so well.

Pro Bowl here he comes.

 

He has played great in all 3 primetime games.

 

I just voted 5 times for him. If we all do it for a week, 5 times a day, he will have some votes. :up:

Polite....Ricky Williams....Dan Carpenter....Jake Long....JT(maybe) are all deserving of a pro bowl spot.

 

Polite is playing awesome. When everytime we have Nationally televised game coaches like Gruden & Herm are mentioning you name you know you are doing something right. Polite is playing at a pro bowl level and I hope he makes it. My vote is for The Hamme Lousaka Polite.

Thats just it. We know Polite deserves to be there. Nobody else does probably. So, lets put it on us. Get to nfl.com and vote for mr. polite as much as possible! He deserves that all expenses paid trip to Hawaii!!

It's funny, the last couple of games I thought Polite looked a little timid. Wasn't hitting as hard. Against Tampa, big Sabby Piscatelli was roughing him up. I was wondering if he was playing hurt or had his bell rung at some point recently.

But he was back to his old form tonight. And the dude deserves to be a Pro Bowler. Now that Mike Alstott retired, he might actually have a chance someday.

Funny I say 'old form', because prior to this year he was not a special blocker.

 

I've voted for Polite, Jake Long, Jake Grove and Randy Starks for the Pro Bowl. Those guys deserve it.
