I think phins would be interested considering he went to the U. They say theres no place like home......why not let him come home?

 

I wouldn't do it because we already have a LT in Vernon Carey. Unless Vernon wants to move to RT, then I would consider it. If Vernon agrees then I would do that trade if they gave us an extra draft choice. Not to high of a one because obviously they wouldn't do it but maybe a fourth rounder? Imo, this would be a win/win situation for each team because we get a LT instead of investing a high draft choice in one and they get a premier Defensive End to help their lack of a pass rush.

EDIT: Also, I would do this because he is only 28 years old and some offensive linemen tend to play to the ages of 32-35 and because he is durable. He hasn't missed a game in five seasons and the only time he did not play a whole season was his rookie year where he played in eight games, starting seven.

 

If they choose to cut him, we wont have to surrender anything lol. That would be great!
