Back to the drawing board on the RB trade. Need help ASAP..i think I'll turn this down, but... I have LT Lynch Reggie Bush Edge Colston (out) Roy Williams Eddie Royal thats all that is worth mentinoing at WR. I've been offered a trade of Burress and Pierre Thomas for Lynch. Trying to figure out if I should take it or not. Burress is really good, and I like Pierre but he's still splitting carries and that gives me 2 RB's from the same team. Opinions?
Burress would def help you out a ton, but I'm not sold on Thomas. If he could give you a better RB or another WR in the deal then I'd say go for it. You have way better depth at RB then WR.
Reject that outright, or counter-propose something more beneficial. That's a horrible trade for you. I bet Burress isn't even his #1 WR.
I'd reject the trade, but Pierre Thomas is an interesting prospect. My friend who owns OnTheClock Draft is a huge Saints fan and he has been bragging up Thomas the past year.. I could see him eventually being their starter with Bush being the complement back...
New Orleans almost let McAllister go in favor of Pierre, but I don't know if that's because of Pierre's supposed talent or because of McAllister's health.
Bad trade, imo as well. Give him R.Bush for Burress if you only start 2 RB's. You'll be fine with LT and Lynch.
