    Well away from here
Taylor Price for Ohio should be playing, one of the players CK just did up a little scouting clip for.

Just thought I would mention it, as there are players of interest in the game.

I was hugely impressed by the cutdown, mainly because he's not making those catches against Talladega Tech, he's doing it on Eric Berry's Tennessee, with Demitrice Morley and Brent Vinson.

I want to have a look at Anderson, I think with his natural size, he could blossom into a David Martin type receiver at tight end. He is 6'5'' and will likely put on 10-12 lbs naturally over the next two years.

I don't like Theo Scott much at all. But Keller catches my eye. Did a great job covering Luke Stockton on a couple of plays. He's one of those guys that doesn't look like much but he's AROUND the football all the time, makes plays on it.

Getting a great look at Taylor Price already. I like the way he moves on his routes. He's a very impressive kid.

Don't like what I'm seeing in Lefevre, he is not making Football decisions he is looking over at the sidelines for the playcall even to the point where he moves Wr around based on instructions from the sidelines.

You know, from having seen the Ohio Bobcats play against Tennessee, that's not the first time Patrick Tafua has caught my attention. He's another tough guy that doesn't back down to anyone.

He doesn't have a choice in that. Not his fault. But, I would also prefer that he had more experience calling the shots.

yup watching. keller with a nice blitz up the middle. verry poor decision on lefevoures part. anderson could have helped his qb by battling for the ball but that was all on qb

Just to clarify on Noah Keller, he's AT LEAST as worthy a draft prospect as was the kid we drafted in the 7th round, brain not functioning I already forget his name.

If he makes it to the NFL, he will be a total project type of Qb, I've never seen a Qb have to look to the sidelines and then sight adjust Wr's into proper formation:

(turns back and looks for HC play call based on coverage, HC says to move the slot back one step, and the wing to the right three steps, okay snap the ball)

    JD Folsom.

Chase Blackburn, a former UDFA Zips LB, is currently starting for the NYG. So even if Keller doesn't get drafted he may still have a shot.

That's right, most TDs in FBS history. Take that Mr. Tebow.

I'm sure Dan would rather have the Heisman and BCS Championship win.

That #4 over there was really not very good against the Volunteers. Disappointing result for Anderson letting him get that ball out.

One weakness in Taylor Price's game that persisted from the Tennessee game to now is if you time his throw poorly he can have a tough time adjusting.

well scratch from our list. every time he drops a pass there will be ten threads started as to why he's a bust and the front office should have drafted the best rookie playing next year

Anderson looks really lean, I wonder how much more weight he could handle? He has decent speed though for a man his size.

    Great catch by McCrae.

WOOOT! There goes Taylor throwing a TD pass!

That fumble before was the same kind of call, Price was going to throw it. He's a fighter!

Amazes me that this time last yr, it was Ball State and Nate Davis.

Be honest though, to me this game is tough to judge players on, McCray may just be that much more athletic than the CMU player.

I was just saying to someone over email that Taylor Price had a costly play, ball was thrown a little early on what looked to be a gimmick lateral then WR throw, and Price couldn't haul it in, so it was a fumble...that I want to see how he bounces back from that because the biggest thing I noticed against Tennessee was his fight and so I NEED to see him bounce back here if he wants to keep me.

How's a long TD pass for bouncing back? :)

I truly believe that Nate Davis will make some noise at the NFL level. Learning disability and inability to speak intelligently aside, that guy was second only to Stafford in terms of PURE passing skills as a Quarterback.

Wow, I'd forgotten all about that Ck, to me Davis was just stashed on the 49ers practice squad as a small school Qb trying to get up to speed in the NFL.

But Davis was never put on the practice squad. He's the 3rd QB. :confused2:

He played really well in the preseason. They brought him along slowly. Didn't even let him throw a pass in his first preseason game, just handed the ball off something like 10 straight times. But by the time they took the cuffs off him a little and let him throw it around, he was performing really well.

He's on their roster, never got cut and put on the practice squad.

Notice Ball State is 2-10 this year. There was a rumor going around that the bad things being said about Nate Davis prior to the draft could be sourced to the offensive coordinator, or maybe it was the head coach, who was one of those guys that was just trying to downplay Davis' role in the team's success to make himself look like a better coach. Davis is gone and that team is terrible.

Idris Lawrence is in a SERIOUS mode right now. He did not come even close to this aggressive in the Tennessee game.

Good enough to where I'm going to be re-visiting that Tennessee game to see if I missed something. To be honest, I was watching the other corner, #12. But he wasn't very good either.

Extra attention toward Price definitely helping McCrae get some more action.

Not much running going on in this game, so you're not seeing one of Price's strengths, his run blocking.

You know I've not gotten much chance to look at Frank Zombo this year. Well, I haven't looked at him at all. He's a guy that I really should check back in with and see how good he's gotten.
