Anyone play it yet? I played on PS3, and I am concerned about the graphics. The grass gets fuzzy on certain angles, it is hard to distinguish players during the game, the high camera angle is bad (this will likely be able to be changed) but in general, it seems i have to strain my eyes to look for defenders. Gameplay: Much better, smooth graphics, liking the multiple tackling now, changing direction of momentum when tackling. Movement seems more sensitive. Game speed is too fast though IMO. Dislike: LBs now are crazy athletic and disrupt pretty much any pass to the middle, whether they superman up, or reach across the field with the wingspan of a B-52. I only played two games, but those are my immediate impressions.
I refuse to believe they re-inserted the same ****ing physics engine from Madden 09. Un****ingbelievable. I'll have to dload this demo to confirm but it sure as hell sounds like it.
I feel like the physics of the game is vastly improved from last year. It doesn't seem like a bunch of robots are out there. The presentation seems a lot better too, I like the raw camera angles because it's more realistic. I haven't seen a "super athletic" linebacker make unrealistic plays, but judging by the fact that it happens in NCAA 12 to me sometimes, it wouldn't surprise me. Or you guys suck at passing. I wish you could up the difficulty on the demo though, it's way too easy at the default setting, IMO. I haven't been impressed by a Madden demo lately but this one has actually talked me into buying the game.
Played this and hated it... I don't know, just didn't like the feel of the game. Didn't flow well in my opinion.
I liked it. I thought it looked good, played good as well. I think normal speed is too fast, so i knocked it down one in the settings. Liked it alot better that way. Not a fan of the super LB's, but they've been around a while now, but you can find ways around them, they're always going to get you sometimes I guess, but you can find ways around them alot of the time as well.
