Well, not John Madden per say, but a simulation from the game:

It will be interesting to see how it really pans out tomorrow, but I would love for this exact scenario to play out.

I think if Henne throws for nearly 300 yards, 4 TDs, and 1 Int... the boards will be claiming him to be the next Marino.

That said, I hope it happens.

lol they have Patrick Turner catching 3 balls for 16 yards. That is more unbelievable than Henne throwing 4 TDs.

Absolutely! It would be completely irrational of course. And I would expect him to follow it up with a bad game and that the boards will be calling him the next Fiedler. But it sure would be fun to see that first game.

Could be worse... they could be calling him the next Lucas. :wink2:

I always thought Fiedler got unwarranted criticism.

I actually liked Fiedler. I liked his effort and his leadership. I thought he was better than the people we brought in to compete against him. My complaint at the time was that we didn't bring very good people in to compete against him. We had a very marginal talent at a pivotal position and never tried to upgrade. That was the organization's fault, Fiedler's.

I did a simulation, too. In mine, I got laid by Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston, and Ana Kournikova. As it turns out, I woke up alone with my sheets all sticky for some reason. Chad Henne had not scored 4 TDs, and it turned out I was a little sore from being screwed by Madden, who had lied to me...not only that, but I found out Belichick had been cheating on me.
