wow, what a lucky guy... what a story. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/cbc/080606/canada/vancouver_bc_grizzly_attack_survivor
Good story! That happens way to often, just in most cases, people don't live to tell about it. I know in Montana and Wyoming, Canada, etc... they have whats called Dinner Bell Bears. As soon as they hear a gunshot, on a deer or elk hunt, the bears come running. The gunshot is basically their way of saying "Dinners ready." Alot of hunters have been killed this way.
daaaaamn. this dude gets mauled and chewed on by a bear, manages to scramble back to his rifle, kills the bear, and then pops his shoulder back into socket! this guy deserves a cold beer.
Whats amazing is the guy stayed calm enough to make a shot and kill the bear.9 outta 10 people could never do it.talk about pressure.
Agree 100%. It's easier to squeeze that shot off when your the hunter and not the hunted. I can't imagine how much all the other noise around you would be drown out by the pounding of your heart in your ears! It all goes back to fight or flight, some have it in them and some don't. Luckily for him he had the fight in him when it mattered.
