Why wouldn't he be happy? What coach can say he enjoys facing JT, even on the wreck of a defense he played in last year? Especially a division rival???
Gotta love Mangini and his dry humor about his "love for ballroom dancing". Oh and Melbourne, Mangini is assured to be in New York until at least the end of the 2009 season. Once again, I don't think a Dolphins fan should be talking too much trash. Just sayin' bro.
D'brick should be the happiest person in NY with this news... It's one less DE that'll be making him look like a revolving door
Please no. First off I don't think Taylor would ever come to the Jets and secondly, thank god he wouldn't. In no way do I want a crybaby, famous actor wannabe on my team who has blasted our fan base and teams routinely and continued to fall short.
Brick a revolving door? Since when? He hasn't been Joe Thomas or Jonathan Ogden, but he has been solid. Sure he was taken 4th overall, but is that his fault? At least he's playing well.. just not great. We needed a LT and we reached. As a Jets fan you should know this. BTW Taylor vs Ferguson: 4 games, 3 sacks allowed -- only one in 2008 -- Taylor had 2 against the Jets, both in Miami, but at least one, possibly both (which would knock the number down to 0 in '08) were against other Lineman. Brick often was faulted in '08 by the horrible play of Adrien Clarke. Not too bad against one of the best pass rushers in the league for a rookie and second year player.
No, no. I was, and still am a fan of the pick.. with Faneca, Brick should become the guy we drafted. I was pretty sure Brick gave up a lot of hurries, but you could be absolutely right, they may have been other O-lineman.
That's a no brainer. Who, on any opposing team, wouldn't be happy seeing the beastliest Miami defender out of camp?
Actually, that is pretty bad. He is allowing almost a sack a game against JT. since when is that a good stat for a LT?
Like I said, not all of those three sacks are credited on Ferguson. If I had to guess two at most were the fault of Ferguson, but probably only one. Adrien Clarke was to blame a lot for the pressure Miami got last season against the Jets.
