    Free agent Olindo Mare will meet with the Broncos and Seahawks early next week.
    The Broncos lost Jason Elam to the Falcons, and the Seahawks lost Josh Brown to the Rams. Mare was cut last month from the Saints after refusing to take a pay cut. The eleven-year veteran was terribly inaccurate last season. He was 1 for 5 on kicks from 50+ yards, and 10 for 17 altogether.

    To go from Elam to Mare would be a huge difference for the Broncos.

    Yeah but you have to wonder if the air in Denver will do good or bad for Mare.

    I am surprised that the Pats haven't tried to pick him up, they try and pick up our castoffs a lot..but even they would not have him, I guess that tells you how much he has declined...

    If he cant kick in a dome, how can he possibly be any use kicking outdoors? Mare is done, he just hasn't had the work ethic guys like Jason Elam and Morten Andersen have.

    I'm thinking Shanahan is remembering back to that game in Denver a few years back when Elam and Mare traded 50+ yard FGs in the last minute in a Broncos loss...
