I was in my senior year of high school in 1984. I kept thinking Dan would lead this team to many SB's, but he just had the one against San Fran and we came up a little short. :sad:

I was almost one year old when we went to the big game. Closest I've seen us get was when we played the Bills in the AFC championship.

I think the closer game was in 1994 (I think) when we were a made Pete Stoyanovich (sp?) field goal away against the Chargers to getting a 2nd crack at San Fransisco.

IMO, no one will ever have the talent, finesse and determination that Dan did. He is one of a kind. He carried the team, on his own, many times and was a true leader. I know winning a SB is the best, but no one can take anything away from him.
