They will face each other one last time for those that are interested, tickets go on sale May 10th. They will be having a final flag football game in Candlestick park (sort of like what Marino participated in the Orange Bowl). Jerry Rice, Roger Craig and Dwight Clark will be there too.
Great! We get to watch Roger Craig high stepping over the goal line again???? Yeah, I'm definitely buying tickets
i wasn't even born when these two played in the superbowl(thankfully) well sort of still would have been cool to actually see the dolphins in the superbowl
Ugh. I had the chance to meet Eric Dickerson in Vegas once, and I didn't do it, because he was standing next to Roger Craig. I am still sore about that game...
The only memories I'm left with: SB 17 Fulton Walker returning a KO for a TD. John Riggins running over everybody and crushing my hopes and dreams SB 19 Dan Marino hitting Dan Johnson for a TD and an early lead (I think). Roger Craig running around everybody and crushing my hopes and dreams yet again. After SB 19, I assumed that they would be back a few more times in the coming years. About 6 fumbles into the 1985 AFC Championship game, I realized I might be counting my chickens...
SB17 Stupid rule about pushing receivers out of bounds but the catch still counts. Cost us two touchdowns.
Marino is bringing an All Star team with him... which means there will be no members of the Dolphins defense on it from that year, so there will be no Craig stepping over that defensive line. Will it be televised!??! http://www.thephinsider.com/2014/4/26/5656308/marino-vs-montana-in-candlestick-park-one-more-time
