Really, do you even need to see the article, or just accept it in blind faith? [ame="http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/insider/news/story?id=5756161"]NFL: Why Jets fans should be worried about Mark Sanchez - ESPN[/ame] A lot of forum members should be lauded for pointing on that a lot of guys have gotten their hands on Sanchez's balls. Wait, that didn't come out right.
Meh, isn't his TD-INT ratio improved (through 7 games) though? And again, you can't really pin those last two INTs on Sanchez. Am I defending Mark Sanchez?
You can say that. You can also say that he had 0 ints up until a few games ago. Agree with me and ye shall wipe thy sin of Sanchez defense.
Sanchez is still young and inexperienced. He's obviously still going to be streaky. We've seen great Sanchez and bad Sanchez this year. However, it's clear he's playing much better than last year.
But wait. If Mark Sanchez starts sucking, what the hell is Tim Graham going to write about in his amazing blog?
The notion that Sanchez has had an inordinate amount of luck in achieving his low interception total has been mentioned here several times. But most fans don't see that. They just see the basic stats. Sanchez is playing a little better than last year, but his stats (the basic stats) have him appear to be playing much better. I have defended Sanchez several times pre-draft and during the last off-season, but even I found the amount of praise he's been receiving to be higher than what his play merited.
