"RotoWorld ESPN and WIP radio host Anthony Gargano are reporting that detectives are investigating a shooting potentially involving Marvin Harrison. They are investigating whether Harrison was the shooter.
Harrison owns a tavern called "Playmakers" in Philadelphia. Gargano claims Harrison and a bar patron got into an altercation there. As the fight ensued, gunfire was exchanged outside with the victim reportedly shot in the hand. Harrison, who owns 25 guns, reportedly acknowledged owning the type of gun that was used in the shooting. Harrison has met with detectives multiple times, and after initially denying the gun was in the area, now admits it's his gun, but says he wasn't the shooter. Gargano is the sole source here, but this sure looks ugly. No witnesses have come forward saying Harrison was the shooter, although Gargano claims they are coming. Harrison would still be at risk of arrest even if he wasn't the shooter. No files have been charged."

Wow. Who would ever think Marvin Harrison would possibly shoot someone, let alone be in an altercation?

I would wait and see what happens in the investigation before I throw a player under the bus.

I gotta admit, that's one sweet gun. But I still can't believe Harrison would be even involved in something like this. He was one of the few top WR's in the league with no issues or red flags.

Sources: Six of casings found after shooting came from Harrison's gun
Six of the bullet casings found after an April 29 shooting near Marvin Harrison's car wash and garage came from a gun that belongs to the Colts wide receiver, Philadelphia police sources told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio.

Police returned to the scene of the crime Monday to examine bullet holes in two residences after new information was provided to police by an alleged third victim of the shooting.

Harrison's representatives say Harrison was not present during the shooting incident, and that his gun was not involved. Monday, Harrison's attorney declined comment. Police say they have no suspects in the case.

The case is being taken over by Philadelphia District Attorney Lynne Abraham.

    WILD CLAIMS IN HARRISON CASE
Appearing with Jason Jackson on WQAM, Russell said that his sources tell him that the guy who was allegedly shot in the hand after leaving Harrison’s bar last Tuesday had come to the establishment to carry out a gangland-style “hit.”

    A “hit” on Harrison.

    Seriously.
