Don't know if anyone here might be interested but every now and then I come across a decent 'mashup' - someone's attempt at blending two or more songs together to create something a little different. A lot of times it's a bit of a train wreck, but every now and then you get some interesting stuff - be it cool, tongue-in-cheek, or just 'different'. Thought I'd drop a couple here. For a first example, how about taking Ed Sheeran's pop-hit 'Shape of You' and mashing it with Disturbed's not pop signature track 'Down with the Sickness'? This has the potential to offend two whole groups of fans, but it's remarkably well done...
Next up, for a bit of a Latin feel, two very similar songs (rhythmically), Santana's massive hit Smooth with the more recent pop hit from Camila Cabello - Havana:
And then another pop mix, but this time a three-way mashup from the guy who did the Disturbed/Sheeran mix, here's Britney, N-Sync and Meghan Trainor: Not a fan of any of these tracks but pretty impressive blending of all three, even if not flawless:
And lastly, for now, an ambitious attempt at mixing Survivor's Eye of the Tiger with Adele's Rolling in the Deep. Again not 100% perfect but pretty darn good. I think the backing vocals should have been dropped mostly.
