I just hope it takes place after the events in Mass Effect 3. Has potential not to suck.
i think this movie has a lot more potential to succeed than say a Halo movie. The characters and their personalities are already there, and it can be much more than a straight action movie, if they so desire. While it would be fun to see stories that we have yet to know, it would also be cool to see shephard experience some of the parts of the game too, especially with critical decisions (like between ashley and kaiden and the decision on wiping out the rachni). if they make us love the actors, those moments could be very moving. as for animated vs real, not sure. But i think Seth Green would definitely want to be in the movie. I think the humans would likely be real with the alien species CG'd. and i would hope they'd get better actors than the voice actors in the game. I love ME's storylines but sometimes the voice acting falls a tad short of what cinema quality would be
