No, because I doubt Miami is looking for a stop gap QB, or a bandage at that position. He is on the down side of his career. He is one of my fav QBs but I doubt Miami will do that.

 

I love that new helment design. Maybe it is time for a uniform change! They were flirting with a new look during the Marino era but never made it to the field

 

if henning was still our OC then i could have seen it since he coached him in BC but now it all depends on who we bring in to be coordinator and what system he will run

 

We need to bring in 2 QB'S..He's an option..cause he's better than Henne.

 

I'd like to see who we bring in on the offensive staff before I decide on who I want for a quarterback. But Hasselback sure looks good today, no question!

I wouldnt mind seeing him as a backup however I still think we need a starter. He would be great to work with a young QB if we can get one in the draft. I dont think we could count on him for even one whole season.

 

He keeps having 4td games in the post season and I find it hard to believe Seattle let's him go. Although with Carroll on a mission to resurrect USC bust careers he might not be retained to make room for Lienhart, and Pat Turner.

 

Considering our Oline, he would be on IR by week 3.

Matt is very near the end of his career, a good #2 QB to train a younger guy, but no more than that. Speaking of QBs though...

I wonder if Peyton Manning might be interested in a change of scenery? He'll be a FA after this year, and even with the franchise tag I don't see giving up two first rounders as too steep a price for at least 4-5 years of excellent QB play.

Now, I doubt he goes anywhere, but both sides have left the door open for at least a chance for it to happen. He would have a better defense here in Miami, fairly decent WR corp and who cares about an OC when he calls 90% of his own plays? :lol:

It would instantly transform how people view Miami, and the NFL would love to have Brady and Manning playing at least two games every season against each other.

Talking about Matt, right? Though Peyton is going to be 34 this year (Matt will be 35), he has been very durable, never had a serious injury, and has not taken many hits over his career. He could play well into his late 30's, so expecting 4 really good years is not unreasonable.

Matt, in contrast, has struggled constantly with back issues the past few years. He is probably one big sack from being knocked out of a game, or even calling it a career.
