If we vote and he wins does it mean he can mail the the rest of the season in?
-
-
And Moore wins the award.! http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...-moore-wins-afc-offensive-player-of-the-week/

MMoore when given real chances in Carolina was a good Qb FF, in 2010 that was a terrible panthers team and he got the hell beaten out of him, he has been sacked a lot here, but overall we have more weapons and a better Oline then the panthers had last season and our talent is now all healthy. -
If he hasn't developed into a franchise QB by now he never will.
He is not this team's future, do not let one good game fool you.dolfan32323 likes this. -
If not, oh well, another nameless, faceless, Qb spends time behind Center in Miami.
Matt Moore does continue to show well, I' change my sigpic to one with an actual face on it out of acknowledgement of his performance, I would dearly love to see him top 20 Td's and break the Frerotte curse. -

I'm rooting for him to turn out being the next Tom Brady. Imagine if this kid put it all together and started playing HOF football, solving our QB issue that has plauged for the last decade. Wouldnt it be nice if we did not need to use our 1st rd pick on a QB next year.

What if he just explodes and throws for a staggering 475 yards and 5 td's vrs the Skins. Then would you believe?
The scary thing about all this is that if he puts together a string of wins and good games the rest of the season, we all become believers right? I could see him pulling a 2007 Derek Anderson. Yet could he keep it up the following season? Cleveland suffered a major setback due to the rise and fall of Derek Anderson. I remember they went into 2008 with some big time players (on paper). Many experts had them going deep in the playoffs. Instead Anderson laid an egg in 2008, and Brady Quinns interceptions were higher than his IQ. Thus putting the Browns back in the hole that they continue to try and climb out of.
My point is that we seem to be on a similar path. I hope Moore turns out to be a good QB but until he can do it day in and day out I refuse to believe. One game against a Chiefs secondary depleted by the loss of pro bowler Eric Berry doesn't convince me.
Lets see what he can do against Washingtons secondary and the likes of Laron Landry, Otogwe, DeAngelo Hall, and Josh Wilson.
Better yet.....I want to see him hold his own against the upcoming secondary's of the Eagles, Jets, and Bills.bgbdwolf31313 likes this. -
Heh... good for him.
This offense is only lacking a competent QB, a pass catching TE, and fix the o-line. -

We have a Frerotte curse? Somebody enlighten me please, actually don't - I don't think I want to know.
