1st you have to define average. If average is losing to winning teams you are correct. He wasn't even average with BM. He was the hope that TS had to save his job and it didn't pan out.
An alternate view would be that MM saw the handwriting on the wall when Tanny was drafted and Gerrard was signed and that he wants to be cut .
I don't know him personally, but from everything I have heard from people that DO know him here in Carolina, and from what I've seen on HK, and in interviews, no way does it seem like Matt Moore is the type to pack it in because he want's to get cut. He may not be a allstar qb, but he is def. not a guy that would play like crap cause he want's to get cut. I don't see it.
