I think this is the prelude to Roth getting traded or cut. Hopfully we'll find a 4-3 team that needs a DE because I do not see him as a stand up player. He's very stiff and not the sharpest tool in the shed.

 

he's also a high motor guy and standing him up may give him an edge he hasn't had at this level. it could go either way.

If we trade Jason then Roth can be tested as an OLB in the 3-4...an edge rusher basically.

Because a DE he is not, in either type of defense. So like I have said before, if he doesn't do something...anything as a LB then he'll be here for depth only if not outright GONE.

 

Interesting. Wasn't their talk about him being too slow for a LB ?

 

He problably is...but if he doesn't cut it as a LB ....its another wasted pick sadly....:pity:
