http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miami-dolphins/sfl-dolphins-matt-roth-s101409,0,6353805.story Put down the "Roth will be traded" speculation keyboards and back away...just back away... Good news, the Saints are not really a running team, the Jets scorched us for 138 yds and 4.6 per attempt, Roth is healthy and up to speed would be a big help to knock that down a bit. I'm looking forward to the Bucket Head getting back out on the field.
Me too, especially against the Jets, and the Pats, we need all the help we can get to win at least 1 of the next three games, two would be much better. The Jets really gashed us running OT and right at JT and JP.
I wouldn't say we were gashed by the jet RBs. Leon Washington, a notorious Dolphin-killer had 44 yards and Thomas Jones had 42. The overall rushing stats are skewed cause the freaking punter had 26 yards and Brad Smith had an additional 12. Other than the jets, we've shut down the opponents' run game. Without Matt Roth. A previous poster has stated something like, "we'll see how JT holds up in December" and that is a valid point. But for now, I don't think the addition of Roth will be a big factor.
