As reported by Adam Schefter, broken foot. OUCH. Just when the Texans are turning the corner they get this. Now Matt Leinart is the starting quarterback. WOW.
-
Well it's a good thing he's an undroppable on my team...
-
-
And we think we're the only ones cursed...
-
Eh, I liked Leinart, think he will do okay in that loaded of an offense.
But he's not Schaub. -
...and unfortunately for the Texans, he's also Matt Leinart. -
Forunately for the Texans, the AFCS is godawful.
-
Garrard?
-
that really sucks for the Texans. That really opens up the AFC. The Titans will now likely win the division. Now some other team can grab the 2 or 3 seed for the playoffs. Get a chance to play at home at least once. I think the Texans were a pretty legit team. I think that game was very winnable for us, but they are (were) solid. That team finally seemed to get over the hump this year as well. It would have been nice to see new representative for the AFC in the Super Bowl.

i think they still win the division, but once the playoffs start they may not advance without schaub.
-
I'm curious how Leinart does in that offense. He couldn't ask for much more, but then again Arizona was pretty solid overall in Warner's years too. I think he'll put up some good numbers for them and they'll wonder if they want to keep both. It's a perfect offense for him though, I have no doubt about that.
How many injuries has Schaub had? Seems like quite a few. -
-
edit: Leinart not expected to come back, shoulder injury. -
My boy Yates is in!
-
8 for 15, 70 yards. All he needs is a few scrambles and thank Jesus, then he can sell some jerseys.
What I saw when he came in both teams were struggling offensively and Houston stayed pretty conservative. Maybe after a week of practice Yates can sling it some next week. -
-
Dan Orlovsky working anywhere ATM?
-
-
Pity the texans though, great run, cake walkish division and down to street FA Qb's.
Trent Edwards maybe would fit in there. -
Heard Brodie Croyle may be up. I'm looking forward to seeing what Yates can do.
-
Texans sign..Jake Delhomme...wow.
Personally I'd have gone with Jeff Garcia, at least he does not turn the ball over and can run the offense, Delhomme has been horrible over the last 3 yrs.MikeHoncho likes this.
