The Dolphins and Eagles agreed to a trade earlier this week that would send cornerback Byron Maxwell and linebacker Kiko Alonso to Miami pending physicals and a reworked contract for Maxwell.
The trade can’t become official until 4 p.m. ET and it might not become official at all. Ed Werder and Chris Mortensen of ESPN report that the Dolphins have a concern about Maxwell’s shoulder and that the trade may be scrapped as a result.

If we do not do this trade then we are left with filling more holes. I was not a fan of Maxwell but I still would like to take Kiko It makes it harder after getting rid of Grimes unless they already have some one lined up.

Hopefully this trade will fall through. Because the Dolphins don't need to add an overrated and overpaid CB and an often injured LB to their roster if it is going to cost them even a 7th round draft pick for these two players.
Any draft pick or even an exchange of first round picks is too high a price to pay considering their injuries and their subpar play last season. -
Kiko hasn't been effective for three years and he can't stay on the field. The Eagles will probably cut him if they can't work out a trade for him and then the Dolphins can try to sign him without giving up anything.dolphin25 likes this. -
Trade is OK'ed by doctors.
