It's the worst time of year for football news, but a Tweet I saw gave me an idea for a thread that might be fun.
Hopefully this will help alleviate the boredom and pointless speculation!
What are your most memorable Dolphins plays?

Here's one that maybe shouldn't be THAT memorable but for me it is. 2012 was the year I was starting to get back into following the Dolphins so that first year with Tannehill and Hartline had a few memorable moments for me. A few pin-point side-line passes on late drives.
So with all that, this one sticks around:

And then then Gase did almost the exact same thing with Drake as Philbin did with Miller. Back to back, we had these fast young RBs on our roster who I loved, and our coaches were idiots and wouldn't give them the ball. Fingers crossed that we draft one this April and Flores actually lets him carry it 15-20 times most weeks. -

Early 2000s...like 02 or 03...Jamie Nails pulls around the side and leads Ricky down the sideline. Nails blew up a couple defenders along the way. Perfect example of an athletic OL being out in front and an RB setting him up to plow the way.

It makes a big difference in the sense when a team is 0-8, they NEVER bring up Miami's 1-15 season. It is always clips of the Bucs and Lions.
I am thankful for that one win as I don't have to be reminded of that season every year.texanphinatic likes this. -
I was only a kid but that still blew me away. -

Had he not made those two TD catches, would the Dolphins have drafted Alex Smith at #1 the next April? Would they have traded down? Either way, he likely had a significant effect on Dolphins and potentially football history in the process. Do Alex Smith and Nick Saban work out and Saban never goes to Alabama? It likely means the Wildcat never happened and became a fad around football. Would the 49ers have then drafted Aaron Rodgers at #2?
Its funny how something so seemingly small could have changed the whole football world from a player who most football fans have totally forgotten.KeyFin likes this.
