[Merged] Dolphins lose Perry, Robertson

Dang, a blown achilles, according to the Dolphins webpage. He could have helped us if his head was on straight.

 

Well, the Dolphins have freed up two roster spots today.

One by virtue of retirement reserve for DT Robertson, and one through injury with Tab Perry. It is being reported that Perry tore his achilles tendon at last weekend's mini camp. There are four unsigned draft picks and currently 78 on the roster I believe. And there is still the Taylor issue. So it is possible that only one player from the current roster who is participating in practices would have to be cut (if you include the notion that Taylor is gone). Can the team put him on some form of reserve (did not report etc)?

Damn that sucks about Perry, I was hoping he might take the 3-4 spot. Well at least this dramaticly increases Bess' chance of making the team.

 

Yeah, I think Tab's injury will solidify Bess' spot on the team. Wish they both could be active though.

Perry had some injury issues when he signed.Losing Robertson is bit of a blow as he was projected as badly needed depth.We will have to make some pickups from other teams cuts to replace them

 

Same here, I was hoping Cirkus or however you spell his name and maybe Hagan would be the odd men out. Losing Tab definitely hurts.

 

What a bummer. I had high hopes for Perry. A buddy who is a Bengals fan told me he could really be special if he could stay healthy. I guess Tab just can't run away from that if though. But I guess we knew that when we signed him. Sad.
