Espn reports that he has no relationship with the coach and it seems some lines were crossed. So he is now requesting a trade.Thought and wishful thinking?
I have always supported Boldin very strongly, but I have to side with the Cards Organization here. From all local reports, this stems MUCH from Fit'z new contract. The Cards Org has done everything possible to try to keep this core nucleus together. They have been very creative in keeping under the cap, and their hands are tied. I hope nothing but the best for Anquan, I just feel bad for the Cards as their FO has finally seen the light, and are trying. This is really gonna hurt them, especially after letting Johnson go in FA.
Anquan Boldin Asks to be traded http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp08/news/story?id=3543594 This was just posted on ESPN.com Could he be had for a 2nd and 6th? I can't imagine Miami not showing any interest given our current WR scenario and Boldin's young age.
I think they'd ask for a first rounder for him and I don't believe we would be willing to give one. Maybe though we could give them our second rounder as it would be fairly high (most likely) and we could hold onto the 2nd rounder we got from the Redskins, and we could throw in a third or fourth from the next draft.
I would LOVE to get Boldin in here. Id maybe even consider sending one of our 2nd rounders their way for him. Plus maybe the 6th or 7th we picked up today for Daniels? I don't think it will even happen, but it would be nice. Look at that WR lineup... boldin ginn hagan wilford bess SWEET!
Watch the Patsies pick this guy up. Wouldn't surprise me. They're pissed with an aging defense. Picking up Boldin will def. keep them off the field and make a strong push for that Super Bowl that will wash away most of the bitter taste in their mouth.
That would be so cool if he were to come to Miami I can just picture him coming out on the field in a Miami Dolphins jersey
