Damn. One of the few who actually played well last year. Ideal nickel guy. And a pretty good special teamer. Hope for the best.
Im not so sure Allen would back up Lehan...IMO we def should keep Allen at Safety... I would think Daniels would back up Lehan, and Daniels is HORRIBLE so lets pray that Lehan isnt seriously injured because if he is, and Goodman isnt ready, were in DEEP DOODOO Wow, Hagan dropped a pass.. Holy crow that never happens
Hopefully the injury won't be too bad. The worst we are looking at is ACL tear and if it is up higher in his leg, that could be it. He may have been planting his foot and it got caught.
Oh, yeah, I thought you meant Jason Allen sucking or not... If he is suspnded (god please no) we all better hope our pass rush is absolutely dominating because itll be another loooong season of teams putting up points quickly with the pass and then forcing us from our rushing game plan to play catch up.
This plus the Will Allen situation has the potential to completely wreck any chance we had at being competitive this season. Gotta basicially hope that the light turns on again for Daniels or that Billingsley ends up being a diamond in the rough...otherwise we're probably in for a long season.
If Lehan's out it probably will force the Dolphins at least to the waiver wire. Only way they will make a trade is if Will gets suspended. The team has the #1 spot on the waiver wire so basically Travis Daniels moves to nickel and I'm sure they will be scouring the waiver wire to find some depth past that.
True, true... But if this is a serious injury, I think were going to be desparate, unless you want Daniels starting all season, and that sight scares the hell out of me. Not to mention, what if Allen gets suspended?
Sounds like a high ankle sprain, I would expect him to be ready by season like SF33 stated in the CL.
Ankle would be a lot better then a knee injury in almost all cases. Generally the worst thing with an ankle is a fracture, and that is typically a 2 month recovery process compared to a serious knee injury taking a year or more.
Michael Lehan Bad news today! Members I thought I would post this to let you know what happened today, it is a shame becasue he had started to become a good player and just signed a new contract. Michael Lehan-DB- Dolphins Jun. 4 - 12:07 pm et Dolphins CB Michael Lehan needed to be helped off the field after suffering an ankle ankle injury at Wednesday's OTA practice. Lehan, who's competing to start opposite Will Allen, could put no pressure on his leg after the injury. It looks like he'll be out indefinitely. Miami is not deep at corner and Lehan played well in 2007, so this would be a tough loss. Source: Miami Herald http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playernews.aspx?sport=NFL
Man this just really sucks! Our being #1 in position on the waiver wire may be our saving grace here.
Ugh, hopefully it's not something that will drag on too long and have a negative effect during the season.
Man, even when the defender gets injured, Hagan still can't take advantage. If Youboty gets cut or Eagles drop their price demands for Sheppard, we must pounce.
Better now then in August and any ankle related injury should be healed by the time the season starts.
What if a giant meteor crashes into the earth?? IMO, 1-15 teams needn't be so concerned with "what if's". This team isn't a player or two away from a Super Bowl. I have nothing against Sheppard, but I'd rather take my lumps then overpay out of fear.
