Thanks for the link Anthony, good stuff. I look forward to watching the Ricky & Ronnie show this season, just hope we don't rush Ronnie back too fast. Which is why I think we see Ricky and Parmele running a tandem for the first 6-8 games, giving us a chance to see what the new kid's got. also this gives the OL time to gel before Ronnie comes back at 100%. At least in my perfect world.
All that excitement from last year right before Ricky was going to start playing again last year.... and he didn't even last 1 game. I really hope the conditioning program this year helps get rid of the injury bug that hurt so bad last year.
Ricky Williams working hard - PFT.com Once again guys, didn't see this posted and thought you'd like the read. Enjoy.
I don't know about other Jets fans, but Ricky Williams scares the living **** out of me, especially with a full offseason to work on his game and get back into the flow of the NFL. The Dolphins have only beaten the Jets 4 times the past 9 years, but guess what? Three of those wins came when Ricky Williams was on the roster making our defense look like a PeeWee Football team. He is one scary S.O.B. and still scares me more than everyones favorite on this website, Ronnie Brown.
Yeah, I jut wish he was in the same form as he was in 2002 lol. But theres no doubt in my mind that he still has people worried when he is on the field.
Ahh consistency--that would be good. I'll beleive it when I see it with Ricky. Reformed, gonna be good, and all that. We'll just wait and see. Why are you here, being a Jet fan and all ?
Thanks bro, you never seem to dissapoint me until I look at your sig. I think your a closet Dolphins fan.
I was VERY disappointed to see him come back last year for us. Nothing against him, just dont like the repeated taste of shat in my mouth. I actually think the entire Pectoral tear (Isnt that what it was?) couldve been the best thing to happen to him. For once, it was something physical that took him out of the game and not mental. Hopefully this is where he re-dedicates himself and proves why he was the most feared RB in the league 1/2 decade ago!!! Thanks for the post 124.. For a jests fan, your not 1/2 bad (It kills me to say that BTW) lol
Now he says that he likes what he’s doing in Miami, and that he’s working harder than ever. ”It’s different around here,” Williams said. “This is the hardest I’ve worked. [Former] coach [Nick] Saban worked us pretty hard, but I think this new regime is making every single person on the field prove themselves. Not just prove they can play football — but prove they are going to lay it on the line on a consistent basis.” I've always had a lot of respect for Ricky William's honesty and insight into the game of football. He might be a fruitcake but he doesn't BS people or toe the party line for the sake of conforming. What I've highlighted makes me feel feel very good about the direction of this team.
