I remember those days before the draft with folks wanting Chris Long or Matt Ryan. Knocking Long for his pass blocking. Personally, I wanted Long all the way seeing as I'm also a Michigan fan :lol: It doesnt matter now though, all that matters is he's a phin, and one of the best, if not the best at his position in the entire NFL.

I had a giggle when Allen FINALLY made a play when Henne scrambled. It was at that moment I remembered oh yea, there's a decent d lineman playing over there. :)

 

Now THAT is a nickname. Not “KC and the Sunshine Band” or “Trifecta”.

 

And he made sure everybody knew he was indeed present at the stadium, doing a little celebration on both plays.

Basically Long dominated Allen to the point where Henne had to run into him for Allen to be noticed.

 

Yea the celebration is what made me laugh.

Jared Allen was trapped on Long Island this afternoon.

In other news, Randy Moss was seen urinating on Revis Island a few hours later.

 

He is an absolute stud. Allen had no chance, unless Henne ran right at him.

 

The only plays Allen made Henne ran into him and still gained yards.

Long beat him him and stole his Milk money, pointed his finger and laughed at him. Gave him his money back then punched him in the mouth twice and took it back. Allen got owned like the biatch he is.

 

Had some questions about Jake's footwork and his hips and how he would develop against speed rushers. A lot of them were answered today.
The man just keeps on getting better.

 

Thanks for noticing my boy (yes, I am his adopted father), and our 2010 Dolphins Survivor Champion. He was dominant today. But alas...it was just another day at the office. Next up...pretty boy and Dancing With The Stars star Jason Taylor. Gonna love seeing his sorry a** pancaked at least once or twice.

thank you for making this thread!!!!!!!!! i had these exact same thought before i logged in today! Allen got a little arm on Henne on a scramble and acted like he cause a 15 yrd loss on a sac or forced a fumble. Very proud of Jake!! Allen actually is pretty good but his celebration for 2 plays that weren't even special... he's a moron!

 

Someone should totally make a gif of Jake Long man handling Jared Allen.

 

Funny thing with Jake..they will interview him and even though it was lopsided in his favor he will say "Allen is a great player..It was/will be tough going against him" same thing he says about everyone..think that tool Allen will give him props ??? nope..He even says that about Pace and he punks that guy all game.

 

My comments on the Jake vs Jared battle

I don't have much to say but I will that loved this battle. Jake Long mandhandled Jared Allen. He was throwing him around like a toy. Maybe its me, but was anyone else amazed at how strong this dude is? No doubt in my mind he is on his way to another Pro Bowl. What are your thoughts?

 

I didnt think about it until last night when I said to myself, I didnt hear Allen's name call that much...then watched it again with the sole purpose of iso'ing those 2, and yeah Long DOMINATED Allen.....it was awesome to watch.....

just like he will dominate JT too...this Sunday night!!!

I love the point that FF make's about his ceiling.

I would love to see a gif of that play where he engaged Allen on the Island, Long checked him perfectly in balance, than clubbed him with his right arm and hand to basically say, GTFOTTA HERE.

It was very cool..A completely dominant Gesture.
