How disappointing, I'd prefered they made that move after we played them.
Any bets on whether or not they cut TO? Or Roscoe Parrish? -
Bills fire Dick Jauron
i know this is NFL news, but it hits close to home in the AFC East.
NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reporting. -
Exactly!!!!
First heard the Dewayne Bowe thing now this on theticket.com
Not like we didn't see this coming.
Of course the Dallas guys are laughing out loud at Turdell right now. -

At least give the man the respect he deserves by spelling his name right... wait, Dick Jauron? Carry on then.

I don't know how to feel about this. On one hand, having the lame duck around another week would be great for us because hey, he's Dick Jauron. But a mid-season replacement could light a fire under these guys asses and we could come out against a re-energized Bills team next week. I wish this could have waited two weeks.

To be honest, I thought old man Wilson was too cheap to fire him. -
I hate when a division rival gets rid of a bad coach. Come on Bills he's not that bad... just give him one more season and see if he turns it around. If he doesn't do it next year then surely he will just one more year, etc..

This is going to be a city wide holiday in Buffalo. I don't know a single Bills fan who will dispute this move. Grats on cutting loose your Wanny/Herm.
-
This opens the door for either Wanny or Herm to re-enter the AFC East, think positive!Phinvader Bill, Vengeful Odin and unluckyluciano like this. -

So help me God if we lose in two weeks when I'm there, making me 0-9 in Buffalo :tantrum:
I mean, the stars are aligning. Terrible QB play, squabbling WRs w/ coaches, Bills falling apart in the fourth quarter, etc. ...... with my luck, we'll get a foot of snow :no:opfinistic likes this. -

I'll bet on the Bills to win...:yes:opfinistic and DolfanTom like this. -
I think I had several Dolfans tell me that two years ago when I was only 0-7.
And I didn't get to go last year in Toronto and look what happens!
Let's see, here's a rundown of the games I've been to:
- 11/29/87 - Bills 27, Dolphins 0 (Marino shut out for first time in my first game :tantrum:)
- 9/11/88 - Bills 9, Dolphins 6
- 10/29/89 - Bills 31, Dolphins 17
- 10/9/94 - Bills 21, Dolphins 11
- 9/17/95 - Bills 23, Dolphins 20
- 11/2/97 - Bills 9, Dolphins 6
- 12/17/06 - Bills 21, Dolphins 0
- 12/9/07 - Bills 38, Dolphins 17
I am SO due and I will love every minute of it if we win! If I remember correctly, '97 was the most frustrating, as the Bills were awful and Alex Van Pelt was QB. Marino got hurt in the first quarter and Craig Erikson - I believe - finished it up.
My first game ever, in '87, was the week after the Bills made that big trade for Cornelius Bennet and started their assention up the ranks. Marino had the flu, and he played like it!
Closest game was in '95. Most frustrating too as we had to go on the road (to Buffalo) in the playoffs because of it! We, of course, lost ....
Anyhow, I'm due and I can't wait to celebrate!!! :up:opfinistic likes this. -

On the flip side, I'm 2-1 in Foxboro! And undefeated in Ohio (one in Cleveland, one in Cincy!).
However .... that game in Cleveland .... a certain legend blew out his achilles  -

We all knew this day would come. The real comedy - though - will be seeing who Ralph Wilson hires in the offseason. There are so many good coaches out there, w/ thick resumes ...... and somehow, he'll ignore them all

I can see Kraft dumping Belichick after that boneheaded call on Sunday and taking on Jauron to finish the season. In my wet dreams.
