Man, as a part of his fan club. I'm afraid he's in danger of being cut if he's on the fringe! Headed to Baltimore if so?
It's true. He was arrested last night on battery charges. He's been released since. While it depends on the circumstances, this is certainly not a good move on his part.
if true, he's probably gone. I think Grigsby was going to beat him out anyway (continuing the fine Miami tradition of a new FB every season). And to be honest, Mauia really wasn't that good. He was a gimmick draft pick
Frankly I thought he was on the bubble before this happened. He could block OK but wasnt much of a rusher and has stone hands . Sorry Adam but it looks like your support is the kiss of death .Please dont support Ronnie Brown or Ted Ginn
Doesn't sound good. Sounds like a straight thug move at this point. Not what we or Parcells wants. I'll bet he was under the influence.
Man we suck Our players don't even get recognized when they assault someone They needed to record his License plate to find out who he was
I think that's all they wanted out of a fullback last year. what parcells wants i'm not sure but boomer sint going to be the guy either. ive seen him in kc and he's a poor man's muaia. a converted ILB. Mauia was actually better at the end of the season than Boomer

Mauia: Fool whatcha lookin at? Innocent Bystander: I aint looking at nothing Mauia: Fool you better recongnize!....<PUNCH!> Yeah he's good as gone.
Bring on Grigsby...we don't need this kind of attitude and distraction on our team. Hopefully Boomer has improved enough to take over the starting spot, if not, then we look to the draft. On a side note, when/if Mauia is released how many want to bet the Pats sign him up the very next day.
Cut him. Get him off the team and away and prove this is a new regime tha will not tolerate this stuff. Cut Ricky while you are at it.
wow, this really sucks. Whats the deal with these NFL players... why do they have to be so damn stupid and so such foolish things.
I'm not impressed with Mauia at all. This move strikes me as something you'd expect from someone immature, which, sadly, it appears is where he is at. Gimmick pick is a good description to use with him, as he really has not done anything to merit consideration to be on our roster next season. Cut him and move on.
Maybe the fact that he ran through walls has caught up with Mauia and he can claim mental instability as his defense.. Seriously I would have been surprised if he would have made this years roster.. He has hands of stone and his blocking ability is suspect to say the least. If this situation turns out as bad as it seems to read now Mauia is as good as gone.. I think the bubble has burst! Meh, he should be let off easy with a slap on the wrist. The current regime likes his work ethic and intensity and should let it slide for this one time. Heck, they still kept Ricky around so why not.
yeah. from a fullback that's a good attitude, lol. I want my fullbacks and linebackers to be borderline criminal sociopaths anyways. receivers and quarterbacks should have to abide by the law however
Oh, and I think charges were dropped or something, but Kircus bashed a dude's face in. What Mauia did can be considered a love tap ...
