Per Volin as well, they traded Ryan Cook to Dallas for a 7th rounder. That's 2 players gone. It's on his Facebook as well: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ryan-Cook/161820400566225
I liked Baker. I knew he would be cut, but I liked him. I kind of wish they would have traded McDaniels and kept Baker.
Baker offered little in terms of pass rush but he had a couple of stops and batted down something like 3-4 passes. I'm a little surprised.
Omar Kelly has Naanee in the safe zone today. He has Rishard Matthews in the danger zone. Those two need to be swapped. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/...ns-three-things-0830-20120829,0,5262018.story
I think they know Baker is what he is. Perhaps they'll look for something better, and if they don't find him, they'll give him a call. As byroan pointed out, they've done this more than once with Baker.
More please, shed bodies and get draft picks for free...love it. "Accumulate!" the 2012-13 motto of your Miami Dolphins!
Seriously. Maybe Ireland has figured out a way around his ineptness. Just accumulate 50 picks per draft......bound to hit on a handful.....right?
With the release of Westerman hopefully we're looking to add a pass rusher, Giants waived DE Matt Broha who had 3.5 sacks in preseason but lost out due to all the good pass rushers they have there. Not sure what the draft guys thought of him coming out but he seems worth a look.
I am befuddled as to why Omar continues his infatuation with Naanee. Seriously, Omar has the weirdest fixations with the most unlikely players.
Interesting cuts so far. I'm assuming Kheeston Randall and Derrick Shelby have made the team. No surprise there. Going to be a lot of roster churning in the next couple of days, more than we expected perhaps.
well to me, if you look at the patsies for instance, they've been accumulating a lot of draft picks and hitting on a few. I'm not as unforgiving as most of you are about ireland, so I'd say with his record and accumulating this many draft picks, he would be pretty successful.
He tries do that, then get lucky, so he can brag he knew something about him over everyone else. Too bad he looks like a ****ing moron 99% of the time.
