I always love how a player gets injured and then gets replaced on the roster with a player at another position. I know it could be a need thing and the position opened up to add someone, but we are now down 1 CB and added LB.

    Resigned William Kershaw ILB

William Kershaw was probably the player that impressed me the most during the presason, he plays a downhill style of ILB and is probably faster than Channing Crowder...

depth at LB is good, need to find someone who will be a solid/consistent playmaker

I see where you coming from Chris, but I think brining in another vet CB will slow down moturation of our two youngsters. Allen is down, and if the two going to be our starters in the future regardless, let'er rip. Sure, there will be growing pains, but at least by start of next year (not that im already looking toward next year) both guys will have plenty of reps and game time experience and hopefully be starting.

I think he is done Sick, I'd prefer Joey Thomas the truth be known, he played well enough last season, but if Channing is out or reduced due to injury we need another ILB.

    Kershaw plays large and downhill.

    Its not.
But brining up a vet CB who will have to learn the playbook vs a guy who was drafted to be our starting CB to begin with?

Yeah, I remember seeing him make an awkward tackle on a guy, late in the game IIRC. And, I thought, that didn't look right. You know, the way his arm kinda got bent back behind his body. But, then he just got up and went back to the huddle, so I figured he was OK. Wonder if that's when it happened?
