I just received this link from a friend. It is really cool. It lets you pick the winner of the remaining games and updates the playoff seeds in real time.

Man, that's cool! I had no idea we could still potentially get the 3rd seed! How friggin' awesome would that be?
Here's my projections:

I just spent too much time on that thing.
According to my research, if we lose ONE GAME, we're out of the playoffs. Of course, teams like Indy and Baltimore could lose games, allowing us to slip into the Wildcard, but we just gotta win out!
Note: If we win out, and New England wins out, we'll host a wildcard game versus New England. -
We could get the second seed, but need help to do so; we most definitely control our own future.

This is what being a fan is all about: playing meaningful games in December with a healthy dose of scoreboard watching!

Man this might have nothing to do with us but didnt we pass on the falcons qb and he sure looks like a franchise Qb for me so far what a shame, and prettty sure he makes the playoff too.Its going to be tough but i think we can pull a wildcard.

OK, say NE and US win out, we take the Division with a week 17 win vs the Jest. If we loose a game, we are out. Of course theres IF NE looses more then one or the Jest we take the division. I am not counting on that to happen.

Yeah, that would be befoolery... How many years in the past have we had to sit back and wait for other teams to lose to get in the playoffs? We gotta win!! That team that played in New England and home against SD needs to show back up!

So if we lose one game it doesn't look good for us, huh? -
Wouldn't this be something: Just like the good old days when the AFC East had 3 teams in the playoffs.

We can't lose a game. If we lose a game we aren't going to make the playoffs.

My Projection - NFL - Playoff Scenario Generator- Yahoo! Sports
Miami - 11-5
New England - 11-5
NY Jets - 11-5
Buffalo - 7-9
I picked it how I thought it would finish off. It was pretty interesting as I couldn't decide between our Dolphins and the Jets in week 17. I ended up picking Miami because I figured we'd split the season series.

I just messed around on this thing again.
1. It is not a given that the jets will win the next two games (BUFF, @Seattle).
2. It is not a given that the Pats will win the next two games (@Oak, AZ).
3. We don't have to win all our games to get into the playoffs.
4. We could get the #2 seed, but that would involve Pitt losing to Cleveland!
5. This is the most fun football December in years!DaFish, HULKFish, GoPhins! and 1 other person like this. -

Football worth watching again. -
If we lose to San Francisco, then we need New England to lose at least one game. We would also need to defeat Kansas City and New York to win the division. This happens only if New England loses one game.
If we lose to Kansas City or New York, it's likely that either New York or New England will win the division unless of course they both lose their next two games.
Basically we need to win all three games. We can afford to drop the San Francisco game, but that means either Oakland, Arizona, or Buffalo needs to bring down New England.
This is just what I've noticed. Didn't really look into wildcard standings because it seems that no matter what Indianapolis is in and likely Baltimore as well... Unless these teams go on an unexpected losing streak. -
I think #2 seed is so far removed from reality - we would need Bal to beat Pitt this week, and then both to lose their remaing 2 game respectively. That is the longest of long.
Its Division #3 seed or bust for us. The scenarios for us to sneak in as WC is so remote and variable its not worth discussing.
And only in the rarerest of events would we face NE #6 seed, most likely we host Ravens (#6) in rematch!HULKFish likes this. -
