Exactly what the thread title says. Tomorrow Sirius NFL radio's training camp tour makes its stop at our Dolphins training camp tomorrow. It will air from 12pm - 3pm, and will be hosted by Alex Marvez, and Bill Polian. No details as of yet on who they plan to interview, but it's always a good selection of players. Just wanted to give everyone the heads up, so you can listen if you like. I'd listen at work and give updates in this thread tomorrow, but my company has blocked sirius online now at work Hopefully someone else here will be listening in and can post some updates of the interviews and such. Just wanted to give you all the heads up its on tomorrow! FYI, it will also be replayed from 10pm - 1am
Marvez is down on the Phins. Be interesting to hear his take after watching the team practice. Hopefully I can listen, if I haven't fired everyone at work.
NFL Sirius Radio at Dolphins Training Camp 8/14 Just FYI for those who subscribe. Alex Marvez and Bill Polian from Dolphins' training camp today at Noon eastern time. Replay at 10pm eastern tonight for those who can't listen while at work (like me). I think siriusxm still offers a free trial, not 100% sure though.
Guarantee Bill Polian is going to say something that doesn't make much sense that sends some faction of the board into a tizzy, one way or another.
It's not Pat and Tim but IMO it could be worse. IE. Gannon and whoever that new guy is on with him. Gil Brandt is another that I don't always care for.. not while he's covering a training camp at least, he is okay otherwise. Marvez and Polian are fairly good IMO.
I don't know about that... he has a long way to go to get to the level of Gannon... and his accuracy.
I always thought it was more about finding a system that fit Gannon's strengths. He went to the Raiders and utilized his short accurate passes a lot more than he could in KC. I liked Gannon, but thought he had a very limited skillset.
..and bummer. the trial subscription for sirius internet radio doesn't include NFL radio. Total BS. I have a Sirius subscription in my car. My wife has a separate XM subscription in her car (another load of BS that they can't be combined) and I can't get internet access for free.
I'm listening at work. Polian just got done with a glowing review of Brian Hartline. Said while he's not flashy, but he works at his craft and is a solid receiver in the league. Brought up Reggie Wayne's name while talking about him (more of a comparison of a guy that is consistent at what he does). Reshad Jones is up next.
Call them and tell them you want internet too. I just had a similar experience when we bought a new car. They hand out the internet access like candy. If you want a bargaining chip claim to be a Howard Stern fan who is fed up with only 2 live shows a week and threaten to cancel when subscription is up. Just like DirecTV Sirius will bend over backwards to not lose subscribers.
I always thought Gannon looked like a talented back up early in his career, mostly due to his lack of accuracy.
If you're paying month to month call them now. If you're paid up just wait until it expires and then tell them you're walking if they don't find you a good deal. Just like DirecTV ask them to be transferred to cancellation if they don't give you a good price. For me, I really only use it for Howard Stern and NFL Radio. And with this America's Got Talent **** show, Howard is only doing 2 live shows a week so I'm pretty fed up. I might cancel for real if they don't give me the service for about 3 bucks a month next time I re-up.
We should teach our mods how to use the search: http://www.thephins.com/forums/show...-Tour-2013-Miami-Dolphins-edition-8-14-12-3pm I just caught some of the interviews with Philbin while I was in the car. Had alot of praise for the team, and the character of the guys in the lockerroom, and how hard working they've all been. Philbin also said he wants to see Tannehill's decision making get quicker, and his accuracy better as well. Then I caught the end of the interview with Ireland. Said he expects a big year from both Miller, and Thomas. Said they are starting to see the explosiveness of Wallace in the offence. Up next supposebly is Tannehill, and Wake. I'm stuck back in the office
Random and off topic. I couldn't help but notice your sig. The survivor champions. Funny that these people won the event and then the fans turned on 4/5 of the them.
yeah, it re-ups in December (i got it however many years ago just before Stern switched over). Between Stern only being on 2 times a week live and then him taking 3 months of vacation a year, I barely listen to him anyway. NFL radio I would miss though. Along with the music and tv news channels.
lol It's no big deal. Just found it amusing. I posted it last night though hoping that people would tune in and share some updates through the day, but apparently that didnt happen. I would have loved to hear the Tanny interview, or at least what was talked about here, but oh well. Everyone was busy I suppose!
yeah, I forgot that it was replayed last night... maybe they will have it on their "on demand" system available online.
