RIP Steve McNair. Definitely one of my favorite opposing QBs and a class act.

One of the Most Stand Up NFL Players I have ever had the chance of watching and Im a Jags fan. I hated playing the guys but had the utter most respect for the man. One hell of a QB and a Role Model American.

I always thought he was a classy guy. This is tragic loss for his family and for his fans.

Per CNN.com He was shot at his Girlfriends residence.

Wasn't he married? Were they seperated and I was unaware? If so my respect for him just went down a full notch.

Was one of my favorite players. Tough SOB. I thought he was the best QB in the NFL for a few years there.

He's done a lot of charity work and was big in that community. Leaves behind four sons.

 

Very sad indeed.

save it. the guy gave tons of money and time to charity and great causes. who cares if he is separated or cheated. he didnt deserve to get a bullet in the head.

 

Wow that really stinks. Hopefully the truth comes out soon as to what happened and the proper people are brought to justice.

 

I absolutely LOVED his game. He kind of declined a bit as he got older but who doesnt? He was always one of my absolute FAVORITE QB's in the game. He played it right and could do anything you asked.

 

What a shame. RIP Steve McNair. May God be with his family and friends at this tragic time.
