http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9306636/Source:-Owens-making-free-agent-visit-to-Bills ..."A source told FOXSports.com that the controversial wide receiver is meeting today with Bills officials at team headquarters. Another source told FOXSports.com that Owens believes Buffalo will be offering a one-year contract. Owens, who is expected to leave tonight, has called friends with ties to the team to ask questions about the franchise and Buffalo community, a source said."... Well as they say.......get your popcorn ready :jt0323 So...how long before?? [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21KLynZRnc4&feature=related"]YouTube - TO Crying[/ame]
Sorry but I'm skeptical. TO had quite a few drops last year. Trent Edwards has proven nothing so far. How many losses before Owens starts pointing the finger at Edwards and/or the coaching staff? He will be a distraction and a disruptive force on that team and any other. I have no problem with Owens going to the Bills.
Its not like the Bills have a top notch program running right now..so I only see this helping them regardless.
ON the ticker on NFLN Bills sign TO to a 1 year contract... haha YES!!!! He wont make that team any better, hell make it worse
T.O. once was a young problematic player with a lot of potential and physical ability Now that he's getting old, he's just not worth the gamble anymore, specially for a team that isn't a 'star' away from the Super Bowl, like the Bills. Bad move for both, good for the phins Lol
T.O. agrees to one-year deal with Bills http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/03/07/to-signs-one-year-deal-with-bills/

I am not trying to be hating on the Bills but I just don't see this as a good match at all. Craziness
You all laugh now but what about when he's scoring TD's against us? Worst part is that it's a one year deal. He ALWAYS behaves for one year.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3960653 Its official. Underscores how important it is to get some CB help for us. This is gonna be fun to watch though.
Plus for us. The Bills are imploding in 5......4.......3........2....wait a minute, they have already imploded.
Horrible move for the Bills TO is not the type of player that a young QB needs, I think TO will throw Edwards under the bus before week 1. The Bills never want to spend money, now when they do they actually hurt their team even more. Sorry Bills fans
thats not likely. TO usually gives it a few years and hes singed to a 1 year contract, its a great move by the bills IMO
I think some of you are underestimating TO a little bit. In the longterm he will infect that team I have no doubt, but in the short term, hes actually a very very good WR, and I can see him hurting us. Hell, we usually have trouble enough containing Evans by himself, now with TO the Bills suddenly have a pair of very solid WRs. Consider its only a 1 year contract, that might inspire TO to go balls out for one year, then try and cash in with 1 final paycheck next offseason. So this could potentially be a good move for the Bills, but it could also destroy this team in a hurry.
True but those first years are usually successful. The problem is TO will want the ball and want it a lot and who will give it to him? Trent Edwards the guy that can't even go deep to Lee Evans (remember how much more JP Losman was effective at doing that). I can see him being well behaved but with Edwards as the QB the rift in the locker room will begin by midseason and if we don't hear anything in the media you will see it on the field.
It took Willis McGahee a few years to get sick and tired of the Buffalo nightlife (or lack thereof), how long do you think it will take TO to realize that he's in Siberia?
Yes but those few years are accompanied by a Good QB. Let's see San Francisco: Steve Young and then Jeff Garcia (when he went to 5 Pro Bowls), Philly: McNabb, and Dallas: Romo. Add in Trent Edwards and tell me who would be by far the worst QB of those guys (at least as of right now in his career)?
I think this is the first time TO left a team for whatever reason without a bad word to say about them. He's definitley joined the 'Hired Gun' hall of fame at this point.
Bills fans get your popcorn ready. With Bills owner Ralph Wilson stating last season that his team was in need of more talent, took a big step in solving that issue with the signing of veteran wide receiver Terrell Owens. http://www.terrellowens.com/news/news.php?newsid=510
While for the most part I do agree, but dont forget we are talking about Owens, so anything is possible. I, for one, hope and pray he tears that team apart.
i want him to tear that team apart to but he never talks during his first year with a team witch should raise his stock next offseason because you wont hear from him really this year
