[MERGED] Zach being paranoid again?

My eyes got teary watching that. Do you think Parcell's would've already told him he's not in next years plans?

Could be that his wife convinced him to retire.

I really think this is Zach being himself. He is always self critical and probably thinks Parcells will not retain him.

I will gladly dig up some interviews for you CNC, after I put my sons to nap. Yet, knowing ZT, at the end of the year, I really don't think I should have to back up the thread title. I was just trying to point out a hidden video that some may not have seen.
If you indeed think that Parcells has told ZT he isn't part of the plan, then by all means call it out now. I think however that it is just a knee jerk reaction from ZT.

Hopefully BP told him exactly that. It would be the classy thing to do. Don't keep a guy like Zach Thomas hanging. Tell him we are moving on from the 1990s.

Add to that ZT has suffered from brain injuries all year. Is helping Miami win 4 or 5 games next year worth it?

That sucks i hope it is just because the season is over if not i hope it is because he retires

im sure its just cuz its the end of the season, did he do the same thing last season??? perhaps he did, but nobody showed it.

parcells said "u keep the good players around and try to bring in good players". well Zach is a good player, so is JT. id only get rid of JT if we were offered a 1st, and id only get rid of Zach if we were offered a low 3rd.

I would be surprised if any player was told anything at this point.

The Article in particular dealt with the way he motivates himself in the offseason and preseason. He talked about his rookie season and how he didn't think he would make the team, however, this was just a few years ago.
He specifically said that he worries all the time about being cut. Again, this was maybe 3 or 4 years ago.
I also seem to recall him mentioning it while talking about Jr Seau's influence and work ethic.
Again, this was not meant to be a knock on Zach, I just think( really just hoping/praying) that he is overreacting to the end of the season.

I don't see Zach being paranoid. Perhaps you don't know what he was told, or what he has told the Dolphins. A little soon to judge.

Maybe they get new spots every year? Maybe he just likes to have it in his house as a gag in the offseason. Or he wanted to wash it. :)

I think he may be calling it quits and it will be sad when he does.

My guess would be retirement though. BP talked about character? You don't find more character in a player than Zach. I can't see BP not retaining him.

Thats his decision, not mine. He'd have to get medical clearance and duke it out with his wife but I think Zach will be back next season. He may not be a Dolphin but I really think he'll still be in the league.

I hope he retires. I dont want him to end up like ted johnson...for what? 2 more rebuilding years? i enjoy watching him play, and will miss him but if he has serious head trauma, hang it up please.

Parcells will cut Zach for tampering with Dolphin property :lol:

man I hope ZT is not gone, but the fact he removed his parking sign and then showed it to the camera guy doesn't look good.....love the way that guy plays...

He signed autographs from his car for a LONG time after the game Sunday. His wife looked like she wished she were elsewhere. :confused2:
