[MERGED] Zach being paranoid again?

My eyes got teary watching that. Do you think Parcell's would've already told him he's not in next years plans?

 

Could be that his wife convinced him to retire.

Hopefully BP told him exactly that. It would be the classy thing to do. Don't keep a guy like Zach Thomas hanging. Tell him we are moving on from the 1990s.

Add to that ZT has suffered from brain injuries all year. Is helping Miami win 4 or 5 games next year worth it?

 

That sucks i hope it is just because the season is over if not i hope it is because he retires

im sure its just cuz its the end of the season, did he do the same thing last season??? perhaps he did, but nobody showed it.

parcells said "u keep the good players around and try to bring in good players". well Zach is a good player, so is JT. id only get rid of JT if we were offered a 1st, and id only get rid of Zach if we were offered a low 3rd.

 

I would be surprised if any player was told anything at this point.

I don't see Zach being paranoid. Perhaps you don't know what he was told, or what he has told the Dolphins. A little soon to judge.

 

Maybe they get new spots every year? Maybe he just likes to have it in his house as a gag in the offseason. Or he wanted to wash it.

 

I think he may be calling it quits and it will be sad when he does.

My guess would be retirement though. BP talked about character? You don't find more character in a player than Zach. I can't see BP not retaining him.

 

Thats his decision, not mine. He'd have to get medical clearance and duke it out with his wife but I think Zach will be back next season. He may not be a Dolphin but I really think he'll still be in the league.

I hope he retires. I dont want him to end up like ted johnson...for what? 2 more rebuilding years? i enjoy watching him play, and will miss him but if he has serious head trauma, hang it up please.

man I hope ZT is not gone, but the fact he removed his parking sign and then showed it to the camera guy doesn't look good.....love the way that guy plays...

 

I think it means he's retiring. His wife wants him to retire so I can't see him going against her wishes.

 

He signed autographs from his car for a LONG time after the game Sunday. His wife looked like she wished she were elsewhere.

 

I'd actually love to see that, who else would you rather have teaching the young guys.
Who knows, he might actually be the only coach who would practice with the rest of the team.

 

Maybe he'll take Crowder with him.

It seems odd he did that,but it's all speculation on what's up.Who knows,maybe he does that every year and gives the souvenir to some kids in his neighborhood.

 

I dunno about best, but he's pretty good. I just don't see a millionaire taking a serious paycut just to work 80 hours a week. I have felt that Zach's value might be better served calling the defense.. I wonder how much he actually lost to satans purge, when they threw away his records and notes.

If Zach was influential as a coach.. so to speak, wouldn't we see more from Channing Crowder.. or do you think he is actually worse that he appears because of good prep...

 

I have to admit that I thought I was in the minority about how disappointed I have been in Crowders play. You just expect more plays from him from an athletic standpoint. I know he has been bounced around alot this year..but I saw so much guessing on his part into what hole to fill and always a step behind in making THAT play..the one that changes field position or creates a turnover. I have just expected ALOT more from him.

 

To me Zach can still play, Crowder is the one who needs to be lookin over his shoulder.

 

Maybe he is moving to Randy's old spot.

 

Maybe it's just a traditional thing he does each year? Maybe this is just the first time we've ever seen or heard of him doing this? Does anyone have any proof that he's never done this before? Maybe people are just trying to read more into this than there really is.

 

I'd take it too. I think this is confirmation of what we already knew in the status of Zach Thomas with the Dolphins.

I think ZT will make the decision, not BP. He's earned it and Parcells will show him the respect he has earned.
