Per Rotoworld: CBS 1300 Radio in Baltimore reports that Jason Taylor "wants to be a Baltimore Raven" and could be one shortly. Citing a "local" source, the station claims "official talks between the Dolphins and Ravens have already taken place" and that several Ravens players have been in contact with Taylor. The station predicts Baltimore will give up either its 2009 second- or third-round pick. Miami is known to be actively shopping the 33-year-old dancer football player, but the source here seems quite shaky. The Palm Beach Post is already disputing it.
got to love that everyone now refers to JT as the... "dancer football player" or some variation of that...
At least Cam is only an OC now over there if JT does indeed go there. I am one of those that dont hate JT, but a 2nd or 3rd next year would be great. And I would not boo him when he came back to Miami.
While im still a bit bitter about this whole situation. I wouldnt ever boo the guy after all he's done and given for this franchise. A 2nd or 3rd next year would be fine with me... however this is all just crazy speculation for now still. Nothing to get excited about just yet unfortunately
I wouldnt boo him but I wouldnt cheer for him either. While I still have love for JT's years as a Phin, its going to take a while for this to blow over.
I don't understand the 'All he's done and given' stuff. He has played hard, but that is his JOB to play hard whenever he is physically able to. He gets paid a lot of money for that, in fact Miami has given him far more than he has us. Yet he can't even show up for training camp. No respect for him.
Has Miami given him more than annual statistics of 11 plus sacks and defensive plays that are game changing that he has given us?
Remember folks, I coined the "Happy Feet Taylor" moniker long a go . . . Do we think Happy Feet will go to the Ravens? They can't be much closer to the playoffs thsn we are, considering they're the only team we beat last year. Why would HFT want to go there?
Has JT given Miami millions of dollars each year? Works both ways. I'm not sure I understand the thumbs down that goes with the thread title. Who cares where he goes as long as we get compensation?
True, didn't think about the money factor lol. I agree with the thumbs down statement, who cares as long as he doesn't go to the Patriots, right L2G
http://www.palmbeachpost.com/dolphins/content/shared-blogs/palmbeach/miamidolphins/ They report its false so I would agree with them.
I thought JT wanted to have a chance to win a SB? Hell Miami may have a better shot of winning a SB before the Ravens.
