***UPDATED*** Miami Dolphins 53 Man Roster (By Position) Cuts are done, and some roster moves ot the bottom half of this team can and probably will still happen, but as of right now, here are your 2010 Miami Dolphins (Note: the order in which they are listed is NOT a depth chart persay, I just listed as they popped into my head). ***EDIT*** Updated to reflect the latest cuts, IR placements and pick ups. Offense now has 25 as does the defense, still three special teams players. Previously we hade 24 players for offense and 26 for defense. Will Allen's roster spot opened up an extra depth position on the o-line. We dropped to 5 at the CB position from 6 and upped the o-line count from 9 to 10. OFFENSE (25) QB: Chad Henne Chad Pennington Tyler Thigpen RB: Ronnie Brown Ricky Williams Patrick Cobbs Lex Hilliard FB: Lousaka Polite WR: Brandon Marshall Brian Hartline Davone Bess Roberto Wallace Marlon Moore TE: Anthony Fasano John Nalbone OL: Jake Long Richie Incognito Jake Grove John Jerry Vernon Carey Pat McQuistan Lydon Murtha Jeremy Parnell Joe Berger Joe Reitz DEFENSE (25) DL: Kendall Langford Randy Starks Jared Odrick Paul Soliai Tony McDaniel Robert Rose Clifton Geathers LB: Cameron Wake Koa Misi Channing Crowder Karlos Dansby Bobby Carpenter Micah Johnson Quentin Moses Ikaika Alama-Francis Tim Dobbins CB: Sean Smith Vontae Davis Benny Sapp Nolan Carroll Jason Allen S: Yeremiah Bell Chris Clemons Tyrone Culver Reshad Jones SPECIAL TEAMS (3) K: Dan Carpenter P: Brandon Fields LS: John Denney
probably how he was keeping count. Berger is the 24th man in, and being the last offensive guy listed, also means 24 kept on offense
I planned on putting how many on offense and defense that we kept, but forgot to do it on defense. Will fix.
So I am guessing its just a way to count how many Offensive players we have on the 53 man roster......hmmmm......its either that, or Berger is a fan of Jack Bauer!
Jake Long can eat those all by himself...whats the rest of the Offense going to eat for pre-game meal?
I see an improved roster with a hell of a lot more athleticism and speed than last.. This year has been about evaluation for me, and giving a young QB with a golden arm some time to breathe and grow, more experience this year for the run that takes place next year... The demise of this team because of a shady preseason is premature, were as good as we think we are, which is a better team than last, and a team that should compete for a playoff spot, if we make it great, if we dont, by much, iam not gonna be pissed...I get the progression that has to take place coming from 1 and 15..
Agreed....we've come a long way, in a short time really. Much faster, deeper D, and better spread of talent between O side skill positions. Upgrade, Upgrade, Upgrade. ST is a concern, but thats about lanes, and responsibilities and not trying to solve the problem of the other guy, thus, blowing your assignment. From what Samphin posted, this is one of the better 53 in a long, long, long time including youth!
