I just downloaded this app on my phone from Finsiders.com and it is awesome. I just watched the press conference on the Camarillo trade. Do you have any comments on that app? I like it and I think I could watch a game from it. I could get tweets and up to the moment info on the Dolphins. what do you think of it??
I don't find it when I search the Android market. Do you have a QR code or something that links to the app? I tried a Google search and see mentions of the app, but no links. Finally found it: http://mobileroadie.com/apps/dolphins-app
It was on the Miamidolphins website...something about downloading this app. It gives info from the finsiders.com site also.
I says cannot find this site because a program is not associated with it ?? I tried scanning it to my droid (v.1.6), but it says not in the android market...??? Any other ideas ??
on the first page of my apps on my iphone, i love it....player itnerviews, schedule, how to buy tickets, rosters, pictures.....all free. great app!
Download the Dolphins App app for iPhone and Android http://www.miamidolphins.com/content/miami-dolphins-iphone-app This is the official App of the Miami Dolphins, a professional American football team based in the Miami metropolitan area. The FREE App features videos and photo galleries of the Dolphins players as well as the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders. It also has a live Game Center, breaking news, live blogs and much more!
Thanks BDH, but I guess my phone (HTC Hero with droid v.1.62) just doesn't get this particular app....I scanned it from my phone and it said that "pname:com.mobileroadie.app_376 is not in the android market". From my home computer, it gives me a message of "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address because the protocol (market) isn't associated with any program." My phone is from a local cell company here in Ashe county, NC and doesn't have all the updates that ATT, Alltell, Verizon, etc have...one day, I'm sure I'll get this app...thanks again...
I also have a droid and I went to the dolphins site and I clicked on the advertisement on my phone and it sent me to the android martket to download. pname:com.mobileroadie.app_376 is what I saw and it allowed me to install it. Hopefully it will work for you.
Thanks, 7171, it wouldn't let me do it that way either...I think it has something to do with my carrier and the version of android they have available right now. most of the apps are for version 2.0 or higher...mines not...thanks though...
Try it and see. I went to the Miamidolphins.com website and saw the advertisement. I hope you could get it. It is a great use for this site to keep everyone up to date on what is going on in the dolphin nation!!
I have uploaded the .apk file to megaupload so you can try manually installing it. HERE Can't be sure it will work if the app is made for 2.x, but it's worth a shot :-) I would think this is ok since the app is free..
I (still) have a Hero as well and just installed this app. In late May Sprint finally pushed the update for Android 2.1 to Hero. You can get it via download or by going to Device Self Update and choosing Update Firmware. Just be advised, it will wipe out all your text messages and photos (I believe) One of the benefits is you get a 'new' Android Market with 2.x and subsequently access to more apps.
I am loving what I am hearing and seeing about Android. I have just been waiting for the right phone (Samsung Captivate) and now that it is here I am just riding out the rest of my Sprint contract.
I'm not sure I can do this....my carrier is Carolina West, not Sprint, verizon, att or any other major carrier...will find out tho...thanks again for the info...
Sprint has their version of the Samsung Captivate coming next week, Samsung Epic 4G and it's a slider with a physical keyboard. You should look into that for your upgrade, unless you really want to leave Sprint. Hard to argue with Sprint's current pricing compared to AT&T and Verizon putting caps on downloads.
Agreed. I had Sprint for years, and loved my plan. I'm now with AT&T, with an iPhone, and HATE AT&T...I managed to get in with an unlimited data plan, though...
You should be able to do it regardless with my link (i.e. directly thru HTC). Is completely independent of carrier. Unless you want off Sprint, give the Epic a look like Chris said (video below is a few weeks old). [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzohBbwdcXQ"]YouTube- First Look: Samsung Epic 4G (Sprint)[/ame]
